What a year 2008 was!   In reflecting on all the learnings I had through this YBL course I realised I’ve probably learnt more  in 5 months than I ever could have imagined.  I’ve also learnt things I had no idea I would learn.  I’ve discovered things about myself I never knew.  I’ve met the most awesome group of people and made lifelong friends.  And I’ve found a sense of happiness and fulfillment…..   it’s the best feeling in the world working hard and knowing that you’re supporting a fantastic charity like The Royal Society for the Blind.

Bring on 2009, with all it’s challenges and successes.   On the cards for fundraising I have ideas about a doggy day where we celebrate your four legged friends, a fun day at the Oakbank Racing Carnival, another special movie release and a wine tour possibly to the beautiful Clare.   And watch this space for details of a fantastic raffle…  prizes are being collected all the time from generous people and it will be one not to miss.
